Search & Filters

Why can't I find my product in the search bar?

You can search for both Garlock product number or your customer item number.

Find products faster with keywords, partial product codes, and attribute-based search.

For example, “Gylon Sheet Blue”, „PS-SEAL 51.00 Inside Diameter”, “FAB08-1100”, “-6604”

If still not found, please mail to ecommerce.europe@garlock.com for request to add.

If urgent, check out order and put comment for Garlock customer service to add product manually.

How do I filter products?

  1. Go to a Category or Product page.
  2. On the left you are able to filter most relevant attributes to drill down search.
  3. The displayed filter options differ by product line (Dynamic Seals – Static).
  4. The AI-based filtering allows continously learning and optimizing sequence.
How does filtering of ranges work?
For numeric filters with many individual values, ranked groups were implemented to improve customer experience.

Groups are arranged in ascending order.

Formatting unfortunately provides 4 digits before and 2 digits after decimal point, leading the values to display „0“ or “ if the value has 4 digits (Ex 0024.00 for 24.00).

As more advanced solutions are being investigated, this is considered a temporary fix.

 

Catalog Information

Is my Customer item number also shown to other customers?
Your Customer item number is displayed to you only (if available).

 

Are the prices displayed as they were negotiated? Are discounts included?
Your customer specific price is available.

Your negotiated discounts & prices are applied, as per your contract.

Volume based discounts will be applied when quantity >1 selected.

Price is expressed in displayed unit of measure (e.g. per KG, PC,…)

Packaging Quantity: if there is a fixed quantity within 1 box, it will be considered in cart.

 

What does "Available Quantity" mean?
Available Quantity = inventory on stock at Garlock warehouse in Germany ready for shipping (reservations already deducted).

Almost real time data , updated multiple times every day.

Reminder: this is live environment. First incoming order will be fulfilled first, in case multiple order for same item come in at same time.

What does "Buildable Quantity" mean?
Buildable Quantity = quantity we can produce within short period of time (considers production capacity and raw material). Applies to
Assembled Products only.
How are Lead Times displayed?
Product Lead Times are expressed in calendar days (1 week = 7).

Displayed Lead Time assumes you place order today.

Lead Time currently is conservate and aiming to fulfil any high demand.

For selected GYLON® sheet products, lead time may consider next scheduled seafreight arrival currently on its way.

Additional Lead Time is shown for manufactured products … Buildable Quantity reflects short term production capacity & raw material stock.

Please provide your feedback on buildable quantity & lead times, in order for Garlock to continuously improve.

How does the Order Uploader work?
Order Uploader is an optional feature to make life easier!

Upload simple text file with list of products & quantity to order you can use your customer product number, or Garlock item numer.

To Upload Orders:

  1. Navigate to your profile on upper right, choose “Order Uploader“.
  2. Download CSV order template by clicking on button.
  3. Populate “Item Number” or „Item Customer Number“.
  4. Populate the column “Quantity” with corresponding quantities.
  5. For decimal quantities, use the dot as separator (not comma).
  6. Save the file & click “Upload Files” button to upload.
  7. Click “Process selected file“ button to add the items to the cart.
  8. Validation step will show you success or any findings.
  9. For products already in the cart, quantity will be added.

 

 

What should be entered in the “General Notes”?
The „General Notes“ field is an option to add any important information to Garlock.

  • For example, to add additional products not available.
  • Authorize partial or priority shipping at your expense.
  • Or give feedback on any different price, box quantity expected to see.
  • Matching the item number with your customer item number.
What does the "Purchase Order" field mean?
Please enter your PO number from your system.
Required to avoid duplicate orders.
What happens when I have placed an order?
Your order will be finalized by Garlock team before confirmation.

Orders from eCommerce channel will be processed with priority.

You will receive final confirmation by Email with PDF as usual.

How can I find my order details and order status?
Navigate to upper right profile symbol and choose „Order History“, then choose your specific open order & click button “View Details

  • Shows tracking number per line once shipped.
  • Shipping cost potentially added to 1 line (Line Amount).
  • Line Amount includes tax for Germany customers.

Near real time … data refreshed in hourly frequency

What to do if I need a certificate?

Please put a comment  in the „General Notes“ field at Check out in eCommerce, so Garlock team can check availability.

What to do if my address has changed or new one is needed?
Please mail to customerservicegst@garlock.com with all details.
Please allow up to 1 day to reflect the changes during your check out in eCommerce.
